NAVONIL MUSTAFEE is a Professor of Analytics and Operations Management at the Centre for Simulation, Analytics and Modelling (CSAM), University of Exeter Business School, UK. His research focuses on simulation methodologies, including hybrid modelling & simulation and digital twins, and their application in healthcare, supply chain management, circular economy and climate change adaptation and resilience. Nav publishes in Computing and Operations Research/Simulation journals, including the European Journal of Operational Research, Journal of the Operational Research Society, ACM Transactions on Modeling and Computer Simulation (TOMACS), Technological Forecasting and Social Change and Computers & Operations Research. His research has received funding from European and UK funding bodies (EU Horizon, EPSRC, MRC, NIHR), charities, and industry funding from the UK NHS.
Navonil has held leadership positions in leading modelling and simulation conferences, for example, General Chair (Spring Simulation Multi-conference), Business Chain (Winter Simulation Conference; WSC), Program Chair/Co-Chair (ACM SIGSIM Conference on Principles of Advanced Discrete Simulation) and Proceedings Editor (WSC). He is an Associate Editor for Simulation: The Transactions of the SCS and Health Systems. He has guest-edited several journal special issues, including special issues in ACM TOMACS, Simulation, Concurrency and Computation: Practice and Experience (CCPE), Health Systems and the Journal of Simulation. He is a Joint Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Simulation and leads the Africa Focus initiative for the journal. SIAN JOEL-EDGAR is an Associate Professor in Human-Centred Computing and is the Director of Post-Graduate Taught at Northeastern University, London. Previously she was a Staff Tutor at the Open University and a Lecturer at Aston University. Sian has an MSc in Computer Science (UEA), a PhD in Human-Computer Interaction (Napier University, Edinburgh), and is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. Sian’s research considers the role of humans in computer systems, their involvement in the design and evaluation of computer systems in applied (often Business contexts) and how humans adopt and share computer systems. Sian has researched information systems and patient pathways in Healthcare environments and designed and evaluated information visualisations and dashboards in engineering projects. She has analysed networks of communication (such as social media) and the role this plays in information and knowledge sharing. She has looked at the perceived barriers and enablers of AI adoption in Human Resource Management. Recent research has looked at the ethical implications of emerging technologies (such as Virtual Reality).

DEBBIE HARRISON is a Professor of Strategy at BI Oslo. Her research interests are in inter-organisational relationships and business networks, and market studies, including market shaping activities in business markets. Debbie is currently involved in projects about creating circular economies in multi-stakeholder initiatives, the reuse of secondary aggregates products in the construction sector, and how platform actors influence interaction and coordination in business networks. PROFESSOR JOHAN KASK at CREDS has primary research interests in the evolution and transitions of multi-actor ecosystems, as well as business models that are innovative, digital, and sustainable. He works with a variety of methods, such as qualitative comparison analysis, scenario analysis, forecasting, case studies, and literature reviews. Kask serves as co-editor for the Journal of Small Business Enterprise Development and sits on the editorial board of Industrial Marketing Management.
